SaveEveryStep brings memories to life and keeps them safe forever.
- Your stories, memories, photos and documents laid out on an interactive timeline, mapping life's journey step after step after step
- Your words tell the stories behind the pictures
- Your secure, private legacy for a future generation
How does it work?
The site is split into two basic elements - your Lifeline(s) and your Vault.
A Lifeline is a chronological timeline filled with the Events which you create and illustrate, and the Lifeline is the only thing that a visitor to your page of the site will see (should you choose for it to be visible).
Your Vault is entirely private. It is a storage area for your media files and also enables you to manage your account details.
Your account will provide you with full access to all of the site's functionality and every family member can have their own Lifeline (and private Vault if you choose).
For a detailed User Guide, check out the 'How it Works' section of the site by clicking here.
Try before you buy!
You can get started building your own Lifeline for FREE, then when you reach your limit of free storage space, if you want to continue adding media to your events, there is a small annual fee in line with the amount of storage you wish to buy.
Fabulous ways for the whole family to use SaveEveryStep!
Life's all about family, so here are some ways to make the most of it for everyone in yours.
Track a child's development from babe in arms to adulthood
Those first little teeth, a new pair of shoes, birthday parties and days at the zoo. All of the milestones which play such a role in the growth of your child can now be captured in the order they happen.
Celebrate the lost days of your own childhood
Bad hair days, old girlfriends, your first bike, gobstoppers and skipping rhymes. Which was your favourite Doctor Who? What were the TV shows that defined your youth, and what on earth were you thinking when you bought that hat?! Savour the moments all over again and revel in the nostalgia of the decades through which you have lived....and maybe get around to writing that memoir?
Are you a school teacher or part of a PTA or other youth group?
There is an increasing desire to capture the memories of the faces that pass through your premises from year to year, as well as to ensure that your school's heritage is preserved for the future. SaveEveryStep provides a perfect platform to not only capture each and every child's school work, but to also enable parents to access and take a copy of it from the comfort of their own home PC.
Sports Days, annual class photographs, Christmas Nativities, PTA events, music concerts....you need never forget a single one again.Use SaveEveryStep as a 'hub' for parents to contribute their own photographs and comments, and all within controllable privacy settings and oversight, to ensure your children are properly protected.
An interest in family history?
Life has a habit of flying by so fast that we never find the time to pass on our stories to the next generation. Are you the holder of the family stories and the pictures from the past? You are a living slice of your own family history, so what better way to ensure that the experiences of your ancestors are remembered alongside your own? Make a lifeline for each family member and preserve their priceless life stories.
Pets are family too!
There's a place for them in our homes and in our hearts, so pets have their own Lifelines too! Whether full pedigree champions or '57 varieties, you can record everything from their arrival in your home to their vaccination certificates in their own personal space.
Travels, hobbies and pass-times
Seen the world? Albums of photos packed with your adventures with no way to share it all? Maybe you've been practicing your photography or making scrapbooks for years and stuffing it all into boxes? What better way to lay out your work in chronological order, and continue to add to it as your life moves on?
